The blacksmith's daughter loved a sailor
Dark as dusk on a haunted eve
With a devil's smile and a sparkling eye

They did delight her mightily

A pirate's love is not for keeping
He soon must heed the song of the sea

But he would not risk his bonny

With treasures more than she'd ever seen
